Danielle is an actor, writer and producer of Greek ethnicity across Film/TV and Theatre. Currently, Danielle stars in the 2019 Asia Web Awards winning web series for Best Ensemble Cast Comedy SYDNEY SLEUTHERS. An official selection for 2020 Santa Monica Web Fest, 2019 NYC Web Fest, Made in the West Film Festival finalist and LA’s Filmaka Competition pilot winner. Other acting credits include LOVE CHILD (Channel 9), short doc SHADING (Diversity Arts Australia), TO BE HONEST (Bankstown Arts Centre), EI8HT at 2015 Sydney Fringe Festival and THE CANTERBURY TALES (The New Theatre). Danielle also received a Best Ensemble cast 2016 Sydney Theatre Award nomination at WITS Festival Fatale, five-star media reviews and several Broadway World Australia nominations for Patricia Cornelius’ play SLUT, co-produced with her theatre company Edgeware Forum. In late 2019, Danielle was also selected for Screen Australia’s 2019 'Developing the Developer' program alongside some of the nation’s rising story developers who seek to champion the creation of diverse stories for screen. She was also one of the writers for the world’s first hijab comedy web series HALAL GURLS (ABCiview), Script Co-ordinator on THE LETDOWN (ABC/Netflix) and chosen state-wide as an emerging producer from Western Sydney by CO-CURIOUS (Counting & Cracking) & Emerald Productions (Ali’s Wedding) for their current 'Behind Closed Doors' screen program, working in development of a feature film. She was also the winner of the final pitching competition in 'Information and Cultural Exchange’s' Screen Cultures’ PRODUCE PERFECT Program (2017) with her original TV concept. She is also a graduate from ACA (Actors Centre Australia) with an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Acting). Danielle has a strong affinity for exploring stories across hybrid genres in the realms of supernatural, comedy and fantasy. Danielle seeks to shine a light on unseen stories belonging to Australian diaspora generations and the unheard of voices from intersecting dispersions of ethnic women.
